The digital entrepreneurship fair, Banco Montepio Acredita Portugal Semana Virtual, takes place from 6 to 12 October. It is a 100% online and free digital fair and has a series of lectures, debates and sharing of topics related to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Participants have access to mentoring training and the opportunity to chat with leading Portuguese entrepreneurs.
At the event, participants will be able to discover new business opportunities where it is worth investing their time and money, as well as discussing the state of entrepreneurship in Portugal and the impact that Covid-19 has on the ecosystem.
On the other hand, you can get to know some of the most interesting startups that have appeared over the years, namely the finalists of the Banco Montepio Acredita Portugal competition.
“We are the largest virtual fair dedicated and focused on national entrepreneurship and aimed at entrepreneurs who are in the initial phase of their entrepreneurial journey. There will be three days of debates and sessions to share experiences of some of the biggest successful entrepreneurs in Portugal”, said the organization.

The virtual week takes place at the same time as the 11th edition of the Banco Montepio Acredita Portugal entrepreneurship competition, which has 20 finalist projects out of more than 10,000 that applied for this edition.
Among the finalists is ROOTure, a collaborative e-commerce platform that connects sellers to buyers of handcrafted products. The aim of the project is to connect and bring together artisans and designers, especially from sparsely populated regions, in a co-creation process that emphasizes the needs and expectations of potential customers, in order to meet the demands of the global market, promoting innovation, a possibility of sharing techniques and knowledge.
And also a cuisine for mum, a Portuguese brand of healthy frozen food. Healthy, because everything is homemade, made without additives and with organic ingredients.
