Sixty-two. This is the number of classes closed due to Covid-19 in Toulouse academy, Friday 1^uh October 2021. We take stock of the latest data from the epidemic in schools in the territory.

Colleges and high schools spared

Currently, two academy schools have been forced to close. One in the Tarn-et-Garonne, the other fr Upper Garonne.

The department of Toulouse is the one that concentrates the most class closures (16 of 62). Behind, on Rediscover the Tarn and Ariège (9), Tarn-et-Garonne (8), the Gers (6), Aveyron and Hautes-Pyrénées (5) then, finally, the Lot (4).

All of these classes are schools. The colleges and high schools of the academy are, for the moment, spared by the closures.

Wearing a mask at school remains in force in Toulouse

While college and high school students still have to wear it, some schoolchildren will be able to remove the mask from Monday, October 4.

As a reminder, this end of obligation only concerns local primary schools in the departments where the incidence rate is less than 50 cases of Covid per 100,000 inhabitants.

Nationally, 47 departments meet this criterion. In the Toulouse academy, this is the case of the Aveyron, of Gers, of Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne. On the other hand, the students of Upper Garonne, from Ariège, from Hautes-Pyrenees and Parcel will wait a little longer …
