Today a nationwide civil defense test alarm was carried out again. As the state alarm and warning center in Salzburg reports, three of the 513 sirens in the state did not trigger during the test.

Between 12 noon and 12.45 pm, the three civil defense signals “Warning”, “Alarm” and “All-clear” were broadcast after the “Siren test” signal. The annual test is used to check the technical equipment. At the same time, the population should be made familiar with the signals that can be emitted by around 8,200 fire brigade sirens.
