American columnist linked Russia and the “Havana syndrome” at the CIA
Russia needs to avenge the “Havana syndrome” from American diplomats. This was stated by the observer of the portal 19Fortyfive Jason Killmeyer, reports RIA Novosti.
“The consensus is that Russia is to blame for these attacks. The attack is probably using a weapon with directed energy, ”the columnist asserts.
According to him, Moscow is challenging Washington. Now, however, the US is “just gathering evidence” and trying to “understand the mechanism that is causing Americans to feel uncomfortable.”
“Every day of delay in answering leads to the fact that more and more US citizens suffer from this disease. The safety of our employees around the world must be our top priority, ”says Killmeier’s column.
Last May, The New York Times reported that more than 130 US diplomats abroad had suffered brain damage from “acoustic attacks.”
In 2016, diplomats, CIA officers and the military, working in Cuba and the PRC, began to complain of dizziness, noises in the head, nausea and vision problems.
“At the moment, we do not have definitive information on the cause of these incidents, and it is premature and irresponsible to speculate,” said US National Intelligence spokeswoman Amanda Schoch.
A number of Pentagon representatives said that the GRU – the Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces – could be behind some of the attacks. To investigate what is happening, a CIA working group was created.
In addition, the US National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) has suggested that it causes “Havana syndrome”, which can be directed radio frequency radiation. In this case, “acoustic attacks” may be associated with a number of chronic diseases diagnosed in some of the victims.
American scientists have also come to the conclusion that the sound of cicadas and crickets can be heard on the audio recordings made at the time of the “attacks”. Jason, an independent research organization, conducted research in 2018 that identified the possible source of the mysterious syndrome.
Researchers have refuted the version with my radio and microwave waves. According to experts, short-tailed crickets most likely led to neurological symptoms.
“No plausible source of energy can both recorded audio / video signals and described symptoms in humans,” the scientists explained in their work.
Experts believe that the recorded sounds were of mechanical or biological origin, and not electronic.
The alleged involvement of Russia in these incidents was reported back in 2018 by the NBC television company. The White House took these words with skepticism and did not directly blame Russia, since there is not enough evidence.
At the end of September, SVR director Sergei Naryshkin commented on reports of the “Havana syndrome.”
