60 firefighters hired for an impressive wood fire in Allonzier-la-Caille
On the night of October 1 to Saturday, October 2, a fire broke out on Friday in a wood storage company in Allonzier-la-Caille, in Haute-Savoie. A total of 60 firefighters were hired to contain the blaze, which only caused material damage.
It was around 11:45 p.m. when the fire soldiers were marked for a fire start in a science, which was playing a supermarket in Allonzier-la-Caille, Haute-Savoie.

Quickly, a rescue operation was put in place to protect the surrounding buildings and prevent the spread of flames. On site, about sixty firefighters are negotiated using ten nozzles and a drone.
The 3000m² building contained 800m3 of wood intended to be transformed into chips. The fire, extinguished around 3 a.m. only caused material damage, without partial unemployment for the company.
Thanks to the firefighters’ commitment, the surrounding buildings were not affected.
Clearance operations were still underway this morning. An investigation was opened to determine the causes of the fire.
