The mafia drama “A Chiara” wins the Golden Eye for the best feature film. The film by Italian director Jonas Carpignano has already won an award at the Quinzaine des réalisateurs in Cannes. Now the feature film jury with President Daniel Brühl has also awarded him a prize in Zurich.
«Simply a masterpiece»
The film tells of 15-year-old Chiara, who notices that her father has ties to the Calabrian mafia. She follows him and investigates underground.

Golden eye for Swiss drama
Productions from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have been nominated in the “Focus” competition. The jury with President Sönke Wortmann awarded the Swiss film “La Mif”.
