“With more powerful and more numerous terminals, the network of the city is such that a user is always at most 150 meters from a charging point”, underlines Virginie Haché-Vincenot, project manager of the Mission for the Energy Transition of the princely government.

Gilles Manera, from the Operations section for public parking, points out that seven parking lots are already equipped with terminals that allow their battery to be sufficiently charged for 200 kilometers in half an hour. And by December, “Three additional car parks will be equipped: The Engelin, Exotic Garden and the station.” An offer that meets growing demand.
And deploy it to develop in 2022. “Today, we have a fast terminal every 250 meters on the surface”, note Régis Fontanez, section head énergie, in the direction of Urban Planning.
Natacha Roux, in charge of commercial development and marketing “Electric Mobility” at SMEG, insists, for her part, on customer service which is “an absolute priority”, seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. The Principality’s electricity supplier manages the installation, commissioning, operation, supervision and relations with electric car drivers.
Drivers who seem to respect the rules of good conduct since the sites with fast terminals, free, are not monopolized for hours. Proof that the courtesy that often seems to have disappeared on the road could be reborn with electricity …
