VIDEO // The Republic of Moldova participates in the World Exhibition in Dubai
The Republic of Moldova participates between October 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022 with a national flag at the World Exposition in Dubai. Internationally, the exhibition is a unique platform for presenting the 192 participating countries in a single space with the involvement of the government and business sectors, and visitors will be able to explore the participating countries without traveling to them.
During the event, the Republic of Moldova participates with a national flag with an area of 393 square meters and the concept involved promoting our country on the international arena presenting culture and traditions, agri-food industry, the most successful business models and the use of information technologies in promoting the profile the country abroad.
The pavilion displays national clothes, handicrafts, as well as projections about the traditional wine production process, information panels and presentations of the national economy and opportunities for investigations. The pavilion is dedicated to the “Tree of Life” country brand, which reports on Moldova from the perspective of the areas: “Discover”, “Taste”, “Invest”, “Craft and Wine”.
At the same time, Moldovan producers will have the opportunity to participate in economic events that will take place at Expo Dubai where they will have the opportunity to participate in B2B meetings and explore new markets.
During the exhibition, the Day of the Republic of Moldova will be held on March 3, 2022 by organizing a concert with local artists, presenting the national gastronomic diversity, organizing an official delegation and other related events.
According to organizers’ estimates, the World’s Fair in Dubai will be visited by about 25 million people, of which 70% – visitors from abroad to the host country. It is the 4th to participate in our country in an event of such magnitude. Previously, the Republic of Moldova participated in world exhibitions in Hanover, Germany (2000), Shanghai, People’s Republic of China (2010) and Milan, Italy (2015).
