A solidarity sale-exhibition
The 111 of the Arts it’s 111 artists, each presenting 11 small square paintings, a total of 1,111 works sold at 111 euros! All profits are donated to the benefit of the research for pediatric cancers, at the Oscar Lambret center in Lille and at the hemato-oncology department of the Jeanne de Flandre hospital. This is the 3rd edition of this event and everything takes place in the Halle aux Sucres in Vieux-Lille. Free admission.

Do you know the “video mapping”? It is the art of projecting visual creations on architectural works. the video mapping festival therefore returns to Lille after several cancellations due to Covid. Adapted to sanitary conditions, this year the festival offers a journey of 7 monuments in the very center of Lille. From the Lille Flandres station to the monument to the dead of 18 bridges via the chapel of the Comtesse hospice, all these buildings are dressed in 2-minute works that run in a loop from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Good walk !
Listen to classical music at Villa Cavrois
Sunday morning, make yourself comfortable in the lounge and games room of Villa Cavrois to attend a double chamber music concert as part of the festival “Music alive“. Under the artistic direction of Jean-Michel Dayez and Gauthier Hermann, musicians Poulen, Bartok and Prokofiev are honored.
Electro among the Jesuits
Two rooms, two atmospheres in Saint-Omer and Aire-sur-la-Lys we continue to listen to music in unusual places but electro this time! the NAME party returns to Pas-de-Calais before disembarking in the North next weekend. Friday evening, free open air in the public garden of Aire-sur-la-Lys, to listen to APM001 or even Blac in the middle of the hundred-year-old trees, before an after-party in partner bars in town. On Saturday, the prestigious Jesuit Chapel of Saint-Omer opens its doors to DJs from all over Europe such as Frankey & Sandrino or Ivory. The billets for Saturday evening are on sale for € 12.20.

A weekend of documentaries
Established for 28 years in the region on FIGRA, international festival of the great news report is settling its suitcases in Douai this week. On the program, more than 70 documentaries screened at Majestic cinema, including 59 in the official selection and awards ceremony on Saturday evening.
