San Marino, 2 October 2021 – Francis Mussoni And Giacomo Simoncini they are the new ones Captains Regent for the semester 1 October 2021-1 April 2022. Simoncini, is 27 years old ed he is the youngest incumbent head of state in the world and second, by age, in the history of the Republic. He is part of the Great and General Council, elected from the ranks of ‘Noi per la Repubblicà, the list that refers to the center-left area. For Mussoni, however, 50, a long-time politician, this is the second time in the Supreme Magistracy. With a formula that has remained unchanged since its establishment, yesterday morning after three blasts of the trumpet, the Secretary of State for the Interior of the Titano, Elena Tonnini, made the announcement from the central balcony of the Public Palace of the beginning of the mandate of the new Regents . After the mass, the procession returned to Palazzo Pubblico where Francesco Mussoni and Giacomo Simoncini they were sworn in and received the investiture, by the outgoing Regents, Giancarlo Venturini and Marco Nicolini, through the imposition of the collar of the Grand Master of the Order of San Marino.
