Ujhelyi’s appeal was proposed by opposition representative Jiří Štyler (Movement for Prague 11 – HPP11). Štyler did not give specific reasons for his proposal. Subsequently, the deputy Martin Muzikant (Pirates) proposed the dismissal of the deputy mayor, who is responsible for the property of the city district, investments and business support. There have been disputes between coalition partners in the South City since this spring. A coalition of Pirates, YES, ODS, TOP 09 and STAN was formed in Prague 11.
Representatives of the coalition clubs ANO, ODS and TOP 09 / STAN in the eleventh city district have previously demanded the departure of the councilor for education. The reason was the open letter at the time, in which the principals of primary schools in Jižní Město expressed their dissatisfaction with the cooperation with the founder in February. At the beginning, Prokop described the declining number of coalition representatives behind the Pirate Party as an obstacle to coalition cooperation. Disputes in the coalitions at the turn of June and July resulted in representatives of the coalition clubs ANO, ODS and TOP 09 / STAN stating that they may not feel bound by a coalition agreement with the Pirates. Now, the representatives of the coalition parties do not agree, for example, on the further progress in the construction of the Ice Sports Complex or in the reconstruction of the former Sandra hostel.
Already this morning, a proposal to dismiss the mayor of the South Town, Jiří Dohnal (Pirates), also appeared at the council meeting, but it was not approved. The proposal was submitted by the opposition representative Ladislav Kos (HPP11).
The city part, where 77,600 inhabitants live, includes the cadastral territory of Chodov and Háje.
