Piast Gliwice – Wisła Kraków in the Ekstraklasa match. VAR had grounds for a criminal offense?
In 54. Piast was dribbled in the penalty area by Yaw Yeboah. The Wisła player tried to pass.
Yeboah, however, began to fall to the pitch and in the meantime he was hooked by his opponent with his leg. Judge Damian Sylwestrzak immediately called a penalty kick for Wisła Kraków.

After a short time, the VAR judges (Paweł Pskit and Michał Obukowicz) decided to intervene and called Damian Sylwestrzak to the monitor.
You can see in the reruns that Yaw Yeboah released his T-shirt and then started to “lie down” and fall strangely. At this point, Mosór wanted to kick, but he missed the entry and minimally hit the Wisła player. This contact did not give away when there was a possible misconduct. This decision … should be questionable, but did the VAR have the right to intervene?
According to the VAR Protocol, the system was used only in a black and white situation and this situation could be an arbitrator. So, was the clash between Yeboah and Mosor an obvious mistake, especially since the contact took place? I think so, probably how many people, so many opinions.
It is highlighted recently that we even confirm that we have contact with the players, we wrote again that the player fixed before the contact (really) happened) to be able to be a VAR intervention and change that decision.
