They could not wait for the meeting with the people of Fehérvár with the best omens, as their national team-thrower, Dávid Vojvoda, could not take the game due to illness. Thanks to this, the guests will have a better time in the league with Steele’s triple and Luke’s zigzag they went 5-0 after one minute. The DEAC started the production of points with a triple Valerio-Bodon, and Thames managed to translate them quickly from the exact distance and double after Jeletovics. The Hajdúság players remained in full swing, the outside throws were still sitting, Polyák and Jeletovics also came in with a triple, and after Aska sacking, the difference was already double-digit (19-9). Milenko’s topics:
– We knew Albania didn’t miss it, but we tried not to deal with it and play basketball in a focused way from the start. The throwing performance of the first two quarters surprised even me, reaching sixty points, and we made an important difference. After the turn, we couldn’t dictate the same pace anymore, but I’m happy with what I’ve seen.
Dejan Mihevc:
– In the absence of our two key players, the biggest headache for us was the acquisition of the attacks. In the first half, we sold a lot of balls, which DEAC also exchanged for a basket. On the plus side, we stayed in position and were able to beautify the end result in the second half.
