Mazars strengthens teams in Lisbon and Porto with 30 employees – O Jornal Económico
Mazars Portugal integrates, from the end of June, 30 new employees, between ‘trainees’, seniors and managers, in its offices in Lisbon and Porto.
The reinforcement of staff is part of the company’s talent attraction and retention goals, promotes diversity and inclusive leadership, and aims to fulfill the strategic objectives of global growth in the various business areas – advisory, auditing, consulting, outsourcing and taxes.
According to the company, the current context, with “necessary in the need and speed of adaptation of people and associations”, raises new requirements associated with the development and well-being of professionals and requires a new vision for talent management.
“Increasingly players in the auditing market are faced with the need to retain talent and find ways to reconcile the expectations of a new generation of professionals, – who are looking for more flexibility and adaptability -, with the demands of the auditing profession and the guarantee of quality of service”, explains Luís Gaspar, managing partner of Mazars in Portugal.
The manager highlights the central role that people play in the organization: “they are our most relevant asset and we assume responsibility for promoting their professional progression and evolution from the moment of their integration. The objective is to help them grow as specialists in their respective areas and enable them to lead, keeping them updated and prepared to respond to diverse clients in an environment of new challenges”.
