Police use chemicals in Athens – The incidents did not last long
Episodes broke out on Friday afternoon (1/10) at Athena and, in fact, in the center, during the general education rally.
About 1,500 protesters gathered in Propylaea and through the Stadium they headed to the Parliament, a business that will take place on Amalias Avenue.
THE Police did not allow it, resulting in a sharpening of the climate to the point where chemicals were thrown and aura was used.
The traffic was carried out commercially in the wider area, while in various places it is completely closed.
It should be reminded that on Thursday (30/9) the strike-abstention during their evaluation that had been declared by the ILO, OLME, POSEEPEA and OIELE, was deemed illegal.
Teacher Spyros Marinis had made statements on the issue.
“Teachers are neither afraid nor have anything to hide. “We are the ones who keep the schools standing, we are the ones who fight for free public education,” he said initially.
He added: “The government, in order to lower the morale, to make the decision of 95% of the industry that rejects this plan, with a delay in appealing to the courts, is trying to criminalize the struggle.”
