Four new vaccination buses have been rolling through various Berlin neighborhoods since Friday – BZ Berlin
Berlin’s next mobile vaccination offer on four wheels started yesterday in the red and white double-decker. A total of four buses will roll through the city with Moderna cans in the coming weeks.
Two weeks ago there was spraying in a pink sightseeing bus. Now there is the Piks on request in a double-decker with the inscription “Berliner Impfbus”.
At the Dong Xuan Center in Lichtenberg, several people who want to be vaccinated can be found on the first morning.
After the start, the double-decker rolled on to the Mevlana Mosque in Kreuzberg. “We want to promote the vaccination campaign more strongly in the various communities,” says Lichtenberg’s district mayor Michael Grunst (51).
“There are still certain prejudices. We have to educate and get these people to vaccinate. That will be the heaviest ten percent of the population. “
The red and white buses are in use in various districts from Monday to Saturday in October, and on Saturday a Piks-Mobil drives to the pumpkin festival in Schöneberg. The locations will be on the Website of the Senate Department for Health, Nursing and Equality released.
