FOOTBALL: AC Amiens in Pas-de-Calais to Advance in the Coupe de France
AC Amiens will try to get its qualification for the 5th round of the Coupe de France on the lawn of Nortkerque.
Looking at the ranking of N3, we can say that AC Amiens is not in great shape. Yet this 13th place is somewhat misleading. The Amiens have a dispute indeed their 4 meetings outside, and were able to get a point from two teams in their championship, the one for maintenance. Above all, “To replace last season, we are really not below everything” says Azouz Hamdane. Thereby, “We produce what I want us to produce, we have the situations. “ In short, it was not a drifting Amiens team that approached this Coupe de France meeting.
A French Cup which does not fit into the same dynamic as the championship anyway. Thus, the year, despite a 0 point in the last championship, the Samarians had managed to rally the 8th round, even offering the passage of a victory full of control against a competitor of N3. This year the competition started slowly, with a short and difficult victory in Méru, 0-1. But with, the only important choice in this competition, “The qualification which is in the pocket”.
An affordable opponent
Pour this 4th round, the Amiens continue their series of trips in Hauts-de-France with a trip (the 6th consecutive), to Nortkerque. The Pas-de-Calaisiens evolve in D1 where they had a decent start to the season with a big win and a draw. In the Coupe de France, they made three trips, against two D4s and then against a D1, which they respectively dismissed 0-6, 1-8 and 1-3. A convincing course but which did not involve any difficulty such as the reception of an evolving team 4 divisions upper.
If, as always in the Cup, mistrust should be in order, the men of Azouz Hamdane, deprived of Romane Hamdane for the occasion, will therefore border this meeting in favorites: the 4 meetings of teams in the Metropolis with at least such a gap between divisions have all the data given rise to a hierarchical respected, with even a big gap (6-1, 7-1, 11-0 and 15-0). It is up to Amiens to be serious in order to extend the statistics… and the adventure in the Coupe de France.
