The “epidemic activity” associated with the SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to register a “declining trend” in Portugal, and the intensity has gone from “moderate” last week to “reduced” this Friday, according to the Data from the Red Lines Monitoring report for covid-19 of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) and by the National Institute of Health Doctor Ricardo Jorge (Insa). At very high risk, that is, with an incidence of between 480 and 959.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, there are only two municipalities, five less than the previous week: Barrancos (801) and Vidigueira (566).
The DGS continues to recommend the use of masks at recess “whenever there are crowds of people”. The guidance is included in the new reference for schools, which was published this Thursday night, despite the document having mandatory this protection in outdoor spaces of teaching teachings, in line with the decision taken by the Council of Ministers.

Anyone traveling to Portugal from this Friday onwards is no longer obliged to prophylactic isolation regardless of origin, in accordance with the new rules for the last phase of decontamination, arbitrated by a note from the Ministry of Internal Administration.
