Florence, 30 September 2021 – Concerts, trekking, guided tours, exhibitions, workshops but also sessions of Consulting, fashion shows and sporting activities: they are more than 180 the appointments selected for the calendar Off de The Legacy of Women, the festival on women’s skills to be held dfrom 22 to 24 October in Florence and online on the site www.ereditadelledonne.eu. Beyond 170 the realities involved, among more than 200 projects proposed in response to the call, including physical and digital events live from Tuscany and the world, all with one goal: to enhance the role of women of yesterday, today and tomorrow and to decline the theme ofStrengthening female according to different formats and methods.

The Legacy of Women is a project by rubber bands with CR Florence Foundation, with the artistic direction of Serena Dandini and the partnership of Gucci. The festival benefits from the co-promotion of Municipality of Florence, the contribution of Italian post and the collaboration of Tobacco Factory. More than 170 subjects who have accepted the call of the festival, among cultural and social promotion associations, institutions, artists, universities, libraries, theaters, publishers, but also individual citizens, cooperatives, collectives and specialist centers. An extraordinary answer which testifies to the great enthusiasm of the territory regarding the themes of the event, after the pandemic stop.

There are also hundreds of locations that from the center to the suburbs reach the municipalities of the metropolitan belt, including cinemas, museums, bookstores, shops, restaurants, fashion ateliers and photographic studios, up to entire squares, neighborhoods and gardens among unusual spaces outdoors the most traditional places of art in Florence. Yes then returns to meet, in presence and in some cases still online: 13 digital appointments, in one case even live from Sao Paulo in Brazil. Dozens of exhibitions and more than 50 cultural events dedicated to books and literature. And again, archives to be discovered; tour through the Florentine monuments in the footsteps of great women of the past and present; orchestras and theater companies with performances in unusual scenarios up to yoga and group therapy sessions, excursions and artistic tastings.
