Pandemic and anti-Semitism: Salzburg Advent Singing in times of double explosiveness
The pandemic is also influencing the Salzburg Advent Singing this year – the staging for the 75th anniversary focuses on anti-Semitism.

The Salzburg Advent Singing is scheduled to start on November 26th in its 75th season. The motto “Do not be afraid!” may be interpreted in a double sense in times of pandemic.
General manager Hans Köhl and his colleagues are aware of the uncertainties that Advent singing is exposed to. However, to the best of our knowledge, there should be no lack of public acceptance. 80 percent of the tickets have already been pre-ordered – preferably by logging in and registering via the Internet.
