Jewelry designer from LG at work – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – own students of the LG are trying to take over the handicrafts in the Ländle: As part of the project week they produce rings, earrings, necklaces and other jewelry items according to designs in the project “jewelry”.
On the first day, the pupils started with their own designs of a flatterer and discussed ideas they had developed themselves. On Tuesday afternoon, she visits the State Museum to gain more knowledge about jewelry. Then it went to work: You were allowed to create your own designs and implement them. If they needed support, the teachers R. Eller and H. Becker were there to help out with advice and action. Beautiful products such as rings, decorated earrings and well-designed necklaces were made from polymer clay, leather, wire and pearls. On Wednesday morning, the young jewelry designers also had the opportunity to solder various figures, which means they were allowed to melt metals in order to connect them with other metals.
In this way, the students were able to freely express their creativity and get to know the world of jewelry design.
