A list of 54 departments, where wearing a mask is still compulsory for schoolchildren has been published this Thursday, September 30 in the Official Journal. Does not include Aisne, Somme and Pas-de-Calais, where the incidence rate of covid-19 is less than 50.
Announced by Gabriel Attal, government spokesperson on Wednesday September 22, this measure will take effect on Monday October 4. On that date, the protocol applicable in Aisne, Somme and Pas-de-Calais will be level 1 (green).
This level 1 reduces the disinfection of surfaces and in particular the exercise of once a day lifts all restrictions on physical and sports activity.
Uncertainty for teachers to wear masks
The new decree published on Thursday does not concern school teachers who will be required to wear masks in front of their students.
