20 km from Paris: last day to register for the legendary race

This is the last day this Thursday October 30 to register for the famous Paris 20 km race, which will take place on Sunday October 10.

Those interested have in fact until 11:59 p.m. this evening. to challenge yourself to participate. The start will be given in a little over ten days, from 9 am, on the Pont d’Iéna, at the bottom of the Trocadéro (16th district), for an arrival planned at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

Four kilometers in the middle of the woods

As for the course, the runners will take the direction of the Arc de Triomphe and will descend Avenue Foch towards the Bois de Boulogne for a few kilometers in the green, before meeting on the banks of the Seine, right bank, to the Tuileries garden. where they will cross the river on the Pont Royal and end their journey on the quays, left bank.

A legendary route that will allow participants to discover some of the most beautiful monuments of the capital, and to pass near the work of Christo, which will be dismantled the same evening. A return to normal life, when the race was last canceled due to the health crisis.

Last year, no less than 30,000 runners took part in the race.

“This course is intended to be festive”, indeed announced the organizers of the race, who produce “many musical animations” throughout the event for the “greatest pleasure” of the runners and to give them “the fishing of to chain the kilometers ”.
