The Russian Ministry of Health has proposed importing unregistered drugs and vaccines into the country. Information on the relevant bill published on the federal portal of draft regulations.

The document notes that biomedical products imported into Russia must be included in the state register, in addition to a specific unregistered biomedical cell product, which is intended for its state registration or “to provide medical care to a specific patient for health reasons.”

The Ministry of Health wanted to force the import of drugs not registered in Russia for clinics participating in the Moscow International Medical Cluster (MMMC). They will be obliged to notify the MMMK Foundation of all side and undesirable effects that foreign drugs may cause in patients.
