From 1 October he will replace Costantino Capuano
SIENA. From 1 October Pietro Milone will be the new commissioner of Siena. Coming from Imperia, he succeeds Costantino Capuano, in office since July 2018.
Pietro Milone, 60, from Rome, graduated in law from La Sapienza. In the police since 1988, after the training course he was assigned to the Terni police headquarters, where he headed the Foreigners Office, subsequently moving to the Mobile Squad. Later it has a direct judicial police unit set up for the dismantling of the criminal association called the Magliana gang, whose historical leader he then arrested in Venezuela.
In 1994 he was transferred to the PS Department – Central Criminal Police Department – Big Crime Contrast Service. Since 2000 he has been assigned to the Central Operational Service of the State Police.
Since 2001, transferred to the Rieti Police Headquarters, he has directed the Mobile Squad. Promoted to First Manager in 2005, after the training course he was assigned to the Central Directorate for the Traffic, Railway, Communications Police and for the special departments of the State Police, where, since 2007, he has held the position of Director of the Police Service Railway, participating among other things in 61 international meetings.
From 2012 to 21 June 2016 he held the position of Vicar of the Police Headquarters of Viterbo and then became Vicar of the Quaestor of Livorno. In February 2020 he is transferred to Imperia and, after nineteen months, he will take up service at the Siena police headquarters
