With the objective of developing resilience and accelerating the energy transition, Toulouse Métropole has set up new financial aid intended for individuals and professionals for the installation of solar panels.
Toulouse Métropole has set up a system of financial aid for professionals and individuals who wish to install solar panels to supply themselves with electricity. This approach is part of the Recovery plan adopted in June 2020 by the Metropolis. The latter’s objective is to develop resilience and accelerate the energy and ecological transition in the territory.
These compensations are also put in place to support local crafts and the building sector. They tend to support the owners of homes or business premises towards renewable energies, promoting savings in the medium term.
How it works ?
This aid is intended for individuals whose main address is in one of the 37 municipalities of Toulouse Métropole and for companies whose head office or activity is located in the same sector. The municipality has set up an online simulator to assess the “solar potential” of roofs. In other words: its ability to have photovoltaic panels. The work must be carried out by a professional certified RGE QualiPV. New buildings built less than two years ago are not eligible.
This aid amounts to 25% of the amount excluding tax of the installation. It is capped according to its power with a maximum amount of € 15,000 per project. After work, the aid request files must be sent by email ([email protected]) or by post to Toulouse Metropolis. If validated, the premium will be paid by bank transfer to the beneficiary.
