Zapping Foot National TOP 10: The ranking of the top scorers in Ligue 2
A lot of players, free since the end of their contracts, cannot find a taker. This is the case of Jemerson (29). The former AS Monaco struggles to find a new club. He “does not have the shadow of a track” according to Sébastien Denis of Foot Mercato. The Brazilian has been free of any contract for a few months after his adventure with the Corinthians. He joined the Brazilian club in 2020 after Niko Kovac told him he didn’t like him on the Rock.
Jemerson played for 4 years, between 2016 and 2020, at AS Monaco. The one nicknamed “Blackenbauer” was notably champion of France in 2017.

to summarize
Jemerson returned to Brazil for playing time but surely couldn’t imagine not having a club at just 29 years old. Perhaps the finances of the clubs have been too weighed down by the pandemic. Or that the player pays for his recurring injuries which holds back potential buyers.
