VADUZ – Michelle Kranz, Managing Director of Liechtenstein Marketing, is leaving the organization at the end of January 2022 to take on a new challenge at the Hilti Family Foundation, as Liechtenstein Marketing announced on Wednesday.
Under the leadership of Michelle Kranz, several projects could have been successfully implemented in recent years – in particular the large-scale event “300 Years of Liechtenstein”. “We regret the departure of Michelle Kranz,” said Chairman of the Board of Directors Christian Wolf in the cited announcement. The Board of Directors thanks Michelle Kranz for the good cooperation and wishes her every success in her future career.
The recruiting process for the new management will start in the coming days.

Notable career in tourism
Michelle Kranz took over the management of Liechtenstein Marketing in June 2017. At that time she took over the fate of the national marketing organization from Marcello Scarnato, who had led the company on an interim basis after the resignation of the former managing director Ernst Risch.
Before joining Liechtenstein Marketing, Kranz worked for Switzerland Tourism for ten years, most recently in charge of the international city campaign. During her career at Switzerland Tourism, Kranz was in charge of strategic partnerships and strengthened cooperation with well-known business partners. In addition, she was responsible for the host initiative at EURO 2008 on behalf of location promotion before she moved to the foreign representation in New York and took over the management of the media department there.
