Launched last April by Marie-Lucie Jacquey, Idéeallocal, the start-up in alternative food distribution, has won over many consumers’ players and intends to go further … in particular by organizing this Open House.
The idea: a fairer distribution system for better, healthier and more responsible food.
Marie-Lucie Jacquey knows the wholesale food distribution sector well, having worked there for 20 years in France and then in the United States. She returned to Burgundy in 2010 with the idea of an alternative distribution system.
Its objective: that consumers and producers find themselves on a fair price for everyone and which reflects the real value of each food.
His conviction: food is important for health, and must be diversified. It must be tasty (pleasure is also good for health!) And respect the soils, the terroirs, the planet … our future!
Marie-Lucie refines her project and after a successful crowdfunding campaign (€ 7,000 raised): Idéallocal opens its first sale in April 2021.
The principle: the online sales site ideelocal.fr takes orders from individuals for distribution in Dijon directly from producers. There are seasonal fruits and vegetables and now also regional specialties and local products. With one thing in common: they are of excellent quality, tasty … good!
Good for health and for the planet.
Also at the right price: thanks to the short circuit directly from producers, and to sales offered in batches and crates.
To preserve freshness and limit transport, only one day per week is declared to collect purchases, on Friday.
To avoid any waste, the quantities pre-ordered on the website are managed alone and until local ideas are relayed.

To find the right products, you have to look for the right soils! Marie-Lucie Jacquey surveys the regions, meets the producers … and tastes!

How it works ?
The online sales site ideallocal.fr : the products of the sale of the week can be ordered until Wednesday.
The producers harvest and prepare the quantities ordered.
Thursday, tour of producers to bring together all purchases and buyers to the ideal relay in Dijon.
COLLECTION ON FRIDAY: customers come to pick up their basket of good seasonal fruits and vegetables and local products (sausages, fruit juices, wines, bread, eggs, creamery, legumes, etc.) from the ideal relay station.
This weekly meeting is also an opportunity to have a good time, to discuss, to hear the story of each product, of its producer, to taste …
NEW: home delivery is now available. A bicycle, of course! Thanks to a partnership with the Dijon cooperative A2ROO, which is part of an ethical approach: delivery people are employees and manage their cooperative themselves.
