update on these terminals for electric vehicles

On the occasion of European Mobility Week, a press point was held to take stock of 18 months of deployment of Monaco On terminals, dedicated to the charging of electric vehicles.

113 Monaco On terminals, installed in 7 public car parks (that of the Casino, Portier, Grimaldi Forum, etc.) and in various strategic points in the Principality. This is the assessment of the deployment of the Monaco On device, launched one and a half ago now. The goal? Encourage Monegasques to purchase an electric vehicle to save energy and help reduce Monaco’s carbon footprint.

A very positive assessment

On Wednesday September 22, a press point brought together the Mission for Energy Transition, the Urban Planning Department, the Public Parking Service and the Monegasque Electricity and Gas Company (SMEG). These organizations are delighted with the successful deployment of Monaco On terminals, which are attracting more and more users.

By the end of 2021, 80 new charging stations in car parks and 12 on the road (7 for cars and 2 for two-wheelers) will be created. They are easily identifiable thanks to their yellow color, free and accessible 24 hours a day without subscription. Increasingly efficient, these terminals allow you to recharge your battery in 1h30. Enough to make you want to go electric!
