This Wednesday, September 29, at 8 p.m., don’t miss the first meeting of Archeology Wednesdays. Clément Birouste, post-doctoral fellow at the Traces laboratory, will explain how animals can help us understand prehistory.

This series of conferences is the link with the Prehistoric Congress of France and is organized in partnership with the Traces laboratory. Other remote meetings will be offered to you by the end of the year. The complete program is to be found here.

The museum regularly reports, thanks to its many partners in the world of archeology, on current research through its temporary exhibitions, or by participating in European Archeology Days, and by organizing conferences.

This year, in partnership with the Regional Archeology Service, we invite you to attend one of the two departmental archaeological days of Haute-Garonne at the museum.

On Friday October 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., archaeologists and researchers will come and present their most recent work to you.

You can attend these meetings for free on site (without reservation and subject to availability) or remotely (live on the MSR YouTube channel).
The next day, the presentations will continue in Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, at the Olivétains space.
