From October 3 to 5, on the occasion of the Sportel Awards, the Principality will roll out its red carpet to some of the greatest French and international athletes, including many Olympic medalists.
Placed under the Honorary Presidency of HSH Prince Albert II, the event Sportel Prize is above all a international competition having for but of reward the best images, works and sports sequences of the past year.
The different prices will be delivered during a prestigious ceremony which will bring together champions and celebrities from the sporting world, the Tuesday 5 October 2021 at 7 p.m. at the Prince Pierre room of the Grimaldi Forum.
This year, the jury is reached by the world athletics champion Muriel hurtis and composed of Yvette Lambin Berti, Secretary General of the Monegasque Olympic Committee, Cyril Gane, UFC heavyweight champion, Julie gautier, freediver, photographer and director, Astrid Guyart, Olympic fencing medalist, Samir Ait Said, gymnast from Antibes and flag bearer for the France team at the Tokyo 2020 Games and Jacques Cardoze, communications director of the Olympique de Marseille.
The Sportel Awards are also an opportunity for sports fans to experience special moments near the champions they adore.
The list of VIPs who will walk the red carpet is impressive: from Brahim Asloum a Clarisse Agbegnenou Passing by Steven da costa, Kevin rolland, Maro Engel, Paula radcliffe, or even Peter Schmeichel.
Many public events are organized in free access on reservation : screenings, conferences and exclusive meetings, signing sessions, etc.
In the wake of the Sportel Awards, the Grimaldi Forum will host the Sportel (October 5-7), the professional sports business show.
