The report of the state audit office for the Austrian airport in Salzburg has now been published. The years 2015 to 2019 were checked with the result: The airline contracts are plausible and comprehensible. But there are also recommendations from the state audit office, the airport announced. These are taken up and implemented.
This week the report of the Salzburg State Audit Office was sent to the political groups in the State of Salzburg. The recommendations of the State Audit Office are largely adopted and optimized accordingly. In summary from the state audit office the airport received a good report.
A number of minor suggestions for improvement in the area of internal structures and processes (documentation) are either already integrated or will be adapted as soon as possible. This concerns, among other things, improved documentation of the “four-eyes principle” that is already in practice within airport management. Salzburg Airport has already made use of many savings potential in recent years. This course will be strictly followed!
