Heavy rains will continue in the mountains and foothills of the regions of southern Russia and the North Caucasus until the weekend. This was reported by TASS Aleksandr Sinenkov, Leading Specialist of the Phobos Weather Center.
According to him, the air temperature in the south of Russia is predicted to be around the norm or 2-3 degrees below the norm.
“In the south of the Krasnodar Territory, in the Stavropol Territory, in Adygea, in the mountainous regions of the republics of the North Caucasus, heavy rains will fall until Sunday. Then the front will exhaust itself, move south of the Caucasus, the rains will subside and stop. But in the rest of European Russia, the weather will be sunny and dry, ”he said.
At the same time, in Rostov-on-Don there will be stable dry and sunny weather, the air will warm up to 15 degrees during the day. In Volgograd on Tuesday, intermittent rains are possible, which will stop, the air temperature is expected to be 11-14 degrees. In Krasnodar, 15-17 degrees Celsius is forecasted.
It will be cloudy in Vladikavkaz until the end of the week, daily short-term rains, strong in places, await the city. In Makhachkala, about 16 degrees of heat is expected in the coming days, rains will fall on Thursday and will continue until Sunday at a temperature of 13 degrees.
In addition, according to Sinenkov, heavy rain will take place in Sochi on Tuesday, on Wednesday precipitation has lost its intensity. It will still snow in the mountains.
Earlier, Roshydrometcenter predicted the weather in the winter of 2021-2022 in Russia. Forecasters promised weather within normal limits in most regions. At this temperature, higher than long-term values are expected in the north of the Urals and Siberia, as well as in Yakutia.
