recently retired, Raoult complains of being “harassed” by the institutions
“The best have to go.” This is what Professor Didier Raoult said, pushed towards the exit by the University Hospital Institute (IHU) of Marseille since this summer, in a video of several minutes posted on YouTube, Tuesday, September 28. He also took the opportunity to announce “a surprise for November”.
According to France Inter, during these few minutes, the epidemiologist complains in particular of being “harassed” and of being the target of “insults” in France, specifying that it is “a personal harassment” and “a harassment of the institutions”. “I must be the only doctor who has not been extended in his duties at the CHU for years, that leaves one dreaming,” he adds.
Emblematic figure of the Covid-19 pandemic, the very controversial professor Didier Raoult, aged 69, has been retired since Tuesday, August 31, having reached the age limit to exercise, he did not get a waiver to continue practicing.
A successor appointed no later than June 30, 2022
Since Friday September 24, the six founding members of the IHU of Marseille, as well as the president of the Institute led by Didier Raoult, have started recruiting a successful candidate who will be named no later than June 30, 2022. The recruitment process must first be accepted by an 18-member board of directors scheduled for November 23. As he wished, Didier Raoult will therefore remain at the head of the IHU for one more year.
Despite this, the pill does not work for Didier Raoult. “You can’t treat people like that without our working bodies putting an end to this stuff. We cannot say on the one hand ‘We will keep the elites’ and on the other hand let them treat them that way “, he denounces in his video.
