Florence bets on artificial intelligence • Nove da Firenze

New technologies open the doors to the future but also make a valuable contribution to enhancing our past and our excellence. The first edition of the “PerformIA” festival, dedicated to artificial intelligence, was held at Le Murate in Florence.

In a suggestive way for 3 days we moved between technology, art and culture also defining different fields of application of artificial intelligence, first of all culture, together with fashion and agriculture.

At the debates and meetings that brought experiences, potentials and studies on the application of artificial intelligence to the stage, there were artistic performances that ranged from theater to music and registered a sold out attendance.

“We have tried to exchange information, training and culture in this festival on the subject of technologies and specifically the use of artificial intelligence. We are facing an acceleration on the digital front – explains Paolo Attanasio, CEO of Polaris Engineering – which is changing the way of doing business, so we need to respond to different needs. In a constantly changing society, the ability to know how to innovate becomes one of the essential key factors for all SMEs and beyond.

Thanks to the application of AI in its own, each company is now quite capable of acquiring the spectrum of digital skills conducive to conscious, traceable and sustainable production. Optimization of time, costs and resources becomes a fundamental automation, capable not only of creating new value for the business, but also of encouraging the productivity of employees who acquire new skills and new ways of working, delegating most of the most repetitive operations to the machines .

The festival was also a way of making people understand what role artificial intelligence can play in the field of art and culture, increasingly pervaded by a scientific approach, of which Florence as a great city of art can become the protagonist. Our intent is now to repeat next year with an even more structured event ”.
