At the Nyíradony station of the County Tastes Meeting program, several producers from the area will present their portfolios. Imre Erdődi’s table was lined with various organic vegetables. They included beets, potatoes, and the famous military cabbage.
“It was once a concept in the county, today very few people produce this cabbage. In Hajdúhadház, for example, I just went to the last eyes, I will reproduce again. This was made by my father ten years ago, they are from that seed – said Imre Erdődi, the head of the Erdődi Biokert.
The County Municipality considers the promotion of Hajdú-Bihar handicrafts to be an important task. Their goal is to introduce them to several more people.
“We would like to encourage producers to look for us and create Hajdú-Bihar products for a family, which means a quality, well-consumable product family for consumers,” emphasized Zoltán Pajna, President of the Hajdú-Bihar County Assembly.
The program ensures that supply and demand are available to meet. That is, you can build a lot between producer and consumer.
– I, Hungarians, think that we were able to gain a prominent place in the world of gastronomy: we cook well, we eat well, we also need specialties and grandmother’s recipes. The recipes in which the places are made here cannot be confused with anything else, said László Tasó, Member of Parliament.
