To facilitate the energy transition and achieve the objectives set by the Recovery Plan in 2020, Toulouse Métropole has set up an “eco-renovation bonus” in favor of individuals who carry out an energy renovation of their main home.
Individuals who carry out an energy renovation of their main home can benefit from financial aid from the part of Toulouse Métropole: this is the premium “eco-renovation“. It is part of the Recovery plan adopted in June 2020, the objective of which is to support local crafts and the construction sector. But also, to fight against energy waste and reduce household heating expenses. To carry out this project, 2.31 million euros were mobilized over the year 2021.
How it works ?
This “eco-renovation bonus” is set up for owners, without condition of resources, whose main residence is located in Toulouse or in its metropolis. The only prerequisite: having passed the first stage of the Renov’Occitanie route (estimate of the energy modifications to be made in the accommodation, editor’s note) and have carried out all the recommended work.
The premium request must then be made on the site of the Metropolis. Invoices for the various improvement operations will be requested. If the application is validated, the amount of aid will be paid by bank transfer to the beneficiary’s account.
What are the amounts of aid?
When carrying out the energy audit of the home (step 1 Renov’Occitanie), two scenarios are possible:
- Choose to achieve at least 40% energy savings. At that time, the individual will be able to benefit from a € 1,000 renovation bonus.
- Choose to achieve the “Low Consumption Renovation Building” label, ie consumption of less than 72 kilowatt / hour of primary energy / m² over one year. At this point, it will be possible to obtain:
– 3,500 euros for an amount of work less than 40,000 euros including tax (all taxes included)
– 5,000 euros for an amount of work exceeding 40,000 euros including tax (all taxes included)
It is also possible to benefit, in addition, from a bonus for the use of “bio-sourced materials”During the works (renewable organic matter). A bonus of up to 2,500 euros can be added to the sums already collected above. All these aids can be combined with each other.
