Verona, after the arrest of the owner, the police put the seals at the Stella bar
Verona, the police put the seals: the Stella bar closed for 15 days.
Bar seals: will be closed for 15 days. This morning, Monday 27, the police have affixed the seals at the “Stella” bar in via Pisano 76 / A. The monitoring activity, started at the beginning of last year, had led the agents of the Flying Squad to the seizure of a few grams of cocaine and marijuana and the arrest of the owner of the public business – a 35-year-old Moroccan citizen – held responsible for the drug dealing activity.
The repeated subsequent checks carried out by the police officers have also shown how, over time, the place had become the usual meeting place of citizens known to the police for crimes against property, against the person and related to the sale of drugs, as well as scenarios of disputes between patrons. Lastly, just a week ago, following a check carried out by the Local Police, the owner was found in possession of about 50 grams of cocaine, and ended up in handcuffs again.
The serious disorders ascertained by the police of the Verona Police Headquarters, dangerous for public order and safety, prompted the Verona police chief, as the provincial public security authority, to suspend the license and affixing the seals in the room for 15 days.
The activity of the men of the Pasi Division of the Steering Wheels, of the Flying Squad and of the Scientific Police ended today with the notification of the provision that provides for the possibility for the Chief of Police to leave the license of the exercises of usual suspension meeting of affected persons or which, in any case, constitute a danger to public order or the safety of citizens.
