For its 16th edition, Seniors et + ”is back at Place du Capitole, with outdoor sporting and musical activities and associative hotlines, urban hikes, places reserved for the“ Piano aux Jacobins ”festival.
Sanitary context obliges, the 16th edition of the Seniors and + week will take place in the respect of barrier gestures. Access will be exclusively from the Croix Occitane side, on presentation of the health pass. Hydro-alcoholic gel will be made available at the entrance. Wearing a mask is compulsory.
Preserve your health capital
“Is there anything more precious for man than health? Socrates wondered more than 2000 years ago. The 2021 edition of the Seniors and + week is in line with this thought with its annual theme: “preserving your health capital”.
In addition to sporting workshops, musical moments and associative meetings very popular with visitors to previous editions, this year is a partnership between the Town Hall and the CHU (Gérontopole) on the health prevention program called ICOPE. This program is organized around a free test to detect the first signs of fragility, and advice to preserve physical, sensory and psychological capacities.
The CPAM and the Communal Hygiene and Health Service will also be present in the Ma Santé pagoda at the entrance to the village.

On the program for these three days, sport in the morning and concerts in the afternoon. The activities take place outdoors and may therefore be canceled depending on the weather.
