Three days of meetings, conferences and seminars 200 years after the birth of Fedor Dostoevskij. The IV edition of the Russian Culture Festival will take place in Rome from 28 to 30 October, organized by the Institute of Russian Culture and Language, in collaboration with the Italian-Russian Dialogue Forum. The events will take place both in presence (at the Institute’s headquarters in via del Viminale) and online on Facebook and Youtube channels.

Thursday 28th October
17:00, Opening of the festival
Presentation of “The boys of Leningrad. Memoirs of an Italian student in the USSR ”, the author Carlo Fredduzzi and the publisher Sandro Teti intervene.
19:00, Dostoevsky – Journey
Conference on the theatrical text by Vladimir G. Sorokin, edited by Bianca Sulpasso (associate professor of Russian literature, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”).
Friday 29 October
17:00, The Grand Inquisitor
Conference on the Legend of the Grand Inquisitor and its reception in Italy, by Professor Cesare G. De Michelis.
19:00, Discovering St. Petersburg
Presentation of the literary guide “In St. Petersburg with Nabokov”, by Fabrizio Pasanisi, edited by Giulio Perrone.
Saturday 30th October
10:00 am, Creative writing workshop
Creative writing workshop on short story: Fedor Dostoevskij and “The white nights”, by the InkEdit publishing services agency. The workshop will be divided into two parts:
> 10: 00/13: 00 theoretical with analysis of Dostoevsky’s text.
> 14: 00/16: 30 entirely dedicated to writing and revising your own story.
