Salzburg: Three girls crashed into the trolleybus with an e-scooter – five injured
With minor injuries, three girls and two bus passengers survived a traffic accident in the city of Salzburg on Thursday afternoon. The trio was traveling together (!) On an e-scooter and crashed into a trolleybus on line 3 in Rainerstraße.
According to the police, the accident occurred at 4:05 p.m. At this time, the 57-year-old Austrian chauffeur put the trolleybus on Rainerstraße in the direction of the main train station.
At the same time, a 12-year-old Romanian crossed a bike ride with her e-scooter. In addition to the driver, two other girls from Romania (both 13 years old) are on the e-scooter.
As a result, there was a collision between the trolleybus and the e-scooter, with the three girls slightly injured. As a result of the bus driver’s braking maneuver, two passengers fell and were also slightly injured. None of the girls wore helmets.
After the initial alert, the Red Cross was deployed with three ambulances and an emergency doctor. The police were also at the scene with several emergency services.
