The case dates back to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Ramonville-Saint-Agne. It is the Haute-Garonne gendarmerie which details its progress on its Facebook page.
A resident of the town south of Toulouse is taken aback by the presence of a man in his neighbor’s garden. The latter is obviously searching and trying to open the garage door of this house.
The soldiers find the suspect
He then dials 17 in order to reach the gendarmerie services, which is on site. “After a reconnaissance of the places and thanks to the precise description of the clothes provided by the appellant, the gendarmes of Castanet question the author”, explains the gendarmerie of Haute-Garonne.
“On him will be found several objects stolen from other homes, since returned to their owners.”
Eight months in prison
Placed in police custody then presented for immediate comparison before the Toulouse court, the individual is sentenced to eight months in prison.
“Thank you to this supportive neighbor who allowed this individual to be arrested”, concludes the Haute-Garonne gendarmerie, which encourages those who would not be as well surrounded during their absences to register for the tranquility operation : https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/R41033
