In Monaco, Luxe Pack wants to mark the recovery of the luxury sector
Meet and discuss face to face! This year, the challenge for Luxe Pack Monaco will be to recreate a dynamic within luxury packaging. For its 33e edition, the unmissable event in the sector will have to endure the plaster of reunion. For more than 18 months, companies have learned to cope with the global pandemic, resulting in digital discussions and exchanges. “As we have always done, and all the more so in the current health context, Luxe Pack Monaco intends to support and accompany as best as possible, luxury brands and their packaging suppliers, explains Fabienne Germond, the director of the show. This is why this year more than ever, Luxe Pack Monaco will be a key moment to support the recovery. “
Three major issues
And to do this, the show will benefit from the presence of more than 450 companies, 84 of which have never exhibited before. “Among them, we will find designers, manufacturers of wooden packs, experts in decoration finishing, 3D printing, leather pack, primary pack, RFID solutions”, detail Fabienne Germond. A rich program of around thirty conferences will also be put in place. Strongly committed to the environmental transition, the show will once again be an opportunity to reward a corporate CSR solution and approach during the Luxe Pack in Green competition. The finalists – unveiled ahead of the meeting – will meet on September 27 to find out the names of the two winners of this 2021 edition.
During the entire show, Luxe Pack Monaco will highlight three major issues. First of all, ecology, through its support. Then China, whose exhibition will give a snapshot of the unique objects implemented for the Chinese market. Specific support will also be offered with an individual session with local experts. Finally, the show has chosen to showcase a selection of new innovative materials resulting from French research with the Carats network (Carnot Technical and Scientific Support). This program, developed by the Carnot institutes, mobilizes the know-how of more than 4,000 researchers in exceptional and prototypical formatting of new materials and processes. Researchers and industrialists from the Carats network will be present to answer visitors’ questions both on an activity space, but also during a conference.
A digital platform
After having reopened the ball of the salons of the luxury sector during a special edition by Luxe Pack with success, it is now about the recovery. And that’s why, “Nothing can replace events in person”, observes Fabienne Germond. And this, even if the digital platform My Luxe Pack, which had made it possible to maintain a link between the players in 2020, will once again be set up. This online extension will allow people remotely to follow the distribution of content but also to contact suppliers on site. While at the Grimaldi Forum, Luxe Pack Monaco will respond to the enthusiasm of exhibitors who “Proves that supply and demand need to meet”, conclusion Fabienne Germond.
