EuroSkills: Silver medal in the freight forwarding industry goes to Austria
Styrian candidate Tobias Tropper from the Kuehne und Nagel forwarding company impressive performance in Graz – chairman of the association Wolfram congratulates
Vienna (OTS) – This year’s EuroSkills, which took place in Graz from September 22nd to 26th, 2021, turned out to be a successful home game for the Styrian participant Tobias Tropper. With a sovereign presentation he made it to 2nd place and thus brought the silver medal behind the participant from Russia.
“We warmly congratulate the Austrian candidate on this really impressive performance. The chairman of the Forwarding and Logistics Association in the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ), Alfred Wolfram, is pleased. “This is a great appreciation for the entire forwarding industry and shows the high level of quality the Austrian forwarding apprentices have compared to other European countries.”
The head of the training and professional association working group, Josefine Deiser, shows herself best: “Tobias Tropper’s success shows that our training is extremely demanding. Working in the freight forwarding industry requires a high level of expertise, personal motivation and resistance to stress. It is nice that our industry shows by participating, what interesting professional opportunities are offered in the freight forwarding industry. “
Over 25,000 jobs and 900 apprenticeships
The professional association for freight forwarding and logistics in the WKÖ represents the interests of around 1,800 Austrian freight forwarders.
