THERE IS NO in Trondheim who strikes hard based on the performance against Mjøndalen (3-1), but the points bring smiles on everyone’s lips. So does the table.
It is not a big challenge since it was not possible to see Rosenborg as league champions.
Where the league stands now has begun to approach the favorite stamp.
AFTER TEN SERIES ROUND Rosenborg was number 11 on the table, 11 points behind Molde. The distance up to Bodø / Glimt in fourth place was only five. It told what we thought we knew before. That Molde were good. That Molde had the best stable. That Molde was going to win and that the place behind the league gold could actually be drawn in the hat.
So mistakes can be made.
AFTER HALF-PLAYED SERIES Rosenborg was again on the shooting range. The distance to league leader Molde was reduced to five points. To Bodø / Glimt in second place there were three points up. Rosenborg did not play phenomenal football, but neither did Molde.
This year, as last year, Erling Moe’s top-tipped team and period had poor results.
The untapped potential remains untapped in Molde.
LAST YEAR Bodø / Glimt from, never looked back and won in the end with 19 points. We have never seen anything like this at the highest level in Norway. Everything about that table is historic. Points (81) plus goals (71) and the distance to the team in second place (19) – in 2020 Bodø / Glimt was in a class fast itself.
Where we are now, after 20 series rounds, had made 56 points, 18 ahead of Rosenborg in second place.
Now Glimt leads on 41 points with 28 fewer goals scored yet at the same time last year.

Rosenborg is three with 37 points, has scored two goals more than Bodø / Glimt, and three goals more than last year.
NOVEMBER 21 MUST Rosenborg to Molde. One week later, Bodø / Glimt arrives in Lerkendal. There are many indications that it is the matches that will decide the league. And if I have to get my money for something here and now, then it will be Rosenborg.
A bit because it’s in the cards.
A lot because it is the Rosenborg coach who has them on hand.
ÅGE HAREIDE CAN win league championship. He has done so in all three Scandinavian countries. In addition, he is best when it pulls and the carrot grows. When the results-oriented cynic can use the experience, he is very happy for the best.
Remember how the ass football came to be when it was led to a semifinal at Lerkendal in 1994.
Remember how he let Denmark play Drillo football when he took Denmark to the Russia World Cup by beating Poland 4-0 in the Park.
AN ELNET ELEMENT which speaks in Rosenborg’s advantage are Bodø / Glimt’s five remaining matches in Europe, three of them away. They have never done that before. All experience says it will cost. And when Glimt goes to Lerkendal at the end of November, it is three days since CSKA meets Sofia at home at Aspmyra.

MOLDE IS NOT forgotten, but Molde mostly seems to be its own worst enemy. Again. After the 2-0 victory in Bodø in series round nine, everything was on the star. Since there have been too many unnecessary points losses against teams you should preferably beat to win league gold. At its best, Molde is the best and also scores the most, but then it’s these stumbling blocks.
It strained their legs last year.
I sit with and feel that it will be again.
ROSENBORGS 27. SERIEGULL will be a difficult thing at Lerkendal, especially considering the last seasons, this year’s season start and Åge Hareide’s announced departure on 1 July. With a coach on dismissal, it was more difficult to see RBK where they are now. I also have a feeling that the consequence of a league gold for – and Champions League qualification next summer – will trigger the club extra.
