Tribune CS – Monaco winner, OM receives Lens

After the victory of PSG against Montpellier Hérault this Saturday evening (2-0), the 8th day of Ligue 1 continue this Sunday with a first meeting between the Girondins de Bordeaux and the Stade Rennais. Victorious against Clermont Foot (6-0) in the middle of the week, Stade Rennais wanted to start a series of victories against the Bordelais who come out of a spectacular draw against the MHSC (3-3). On loan from PSG to Bordeaux, Timothée Pembélé started the meeting just like the former Parisian, Yacine Adli. Finally, the two formations left on a score of parity (1-1). Gaëtan Laborde opened the scoring for the SRFC (55th) before Mexer equalized at the end of the match (88th) for the Girondins.

At 3 p.m., three games were on the program. Stade de Reims won 3-1 against FC Nantes. Defeated by PSG in the middle of the week, the FC Metz won a meeting against Stade Brestois (2-1). At last, Estac and Angers SCO leave in a draw (1-1). 17 hours Clermont Foot 64 hosted AS Monaco. It is the promoted who opened the scoring thanks to Mohamed Bayo, his fifth but of the season but Monaco managed to reverse the trend to finally win (1-3) thanks to goals from Ben Yedder, Volland and Diop.

OM hosted RC Lens this evening, who wasted no time in taking the lead and launching a completely crazy match.. The Sang et Or thus lead the game 0-2 at the half hour before conceding a very well placed free kick for the Olympians. Payet is responsible for reviving his family and deceives Jean-Louis Leca. The 36-year-old doorman does not budge and despite a penalty registered again by Payet, the Corsican is one of the best players of the evening. Last bulwark of a courageous team from Lens, Leca can count on Fofana in the middle as well as on Wesley Saïd who, after replacing the titi Parisien Kalimuendo, offers the goal of victory to his people. With this good performance, Lens gleaned 2nd place in OM, downgraded to third place.
