The digital revolution is the last chance for Hungary, therefore the IVSZ – Association for the Digital Economy speaks for social cohesion in its proclamation published at the MENTA conference. Digitization must change the lives of all Hungarians, all Hungarian companies and institutions, and in the coming years it will fundamentally shake our daily lives – concepts are the organization of IT and digitization companies, whose annual big conference focuses on the effective use of export opportunities.
Although digitalisation has become an integral part of our everyday lives, Hungary has lagged behind other countries in many areas. First important digital competencies are lacking, but the economic and public spheres have always proved to be slow in introducing and applying effective solutions. In addition to the competitiveness of the national economy and domestic enterprises, the performance of the country and the living standards of the population, it will depend on whether any digitization can be used for our own benefit in the coming years.

In order to draw attention to the importance of exploiting digitalisation, the IVSZ-Alliance for the Digital Economy, in the manifesto of the MENTA conference publication, , educators, users, policy makers – calls for the digital revolution to be implemented and for joint action.
In order to put this into practice, the organization invites a voluntary coalition, the Joint Hungary initiative, into its life. Part of this is the new preparations for action coordinated by the IVSZ, and it is presented to decision-makers in the form of policy and development policy proposals.
We believe that with the cooperation of the actors of the economy and society, with the active support of the government, we want to forge our further endowments in advance in the next few years and to be at the forefront of digitization. Until now, digitization has been a task to be solved, and now we see it: in fact, a historical opportunity that arises once every century. At the same time, it may be our last chance for a long time
– summarized the purpose of the initiative dr. Balázs Vinnai, President of IVSZ. The participants of the MENTA conference, which will take place on September 23 and 24 in Sárvár this year, are looking for the answer to the changes that have taken place in the digital economy and during the pandemic. After all, the past good year has shown that digitization and technology have become stronger than ever, and the market and industry they are building can go on a path that has never been possible in recent years. However, the expected rediscovered, strengthened market processes and the digital economy itself are not all in which direction, strength and decisions it develops development, therefore the actors and presentations of MENTA provide guidance and assistance in this.
Digital transformation is not just an economic issue, as it has social significance:
it can reduce or increase inequalities if it is strongly related to sustainability and resilience.
The integration of digital technology is vital for economic actors, but the effective introduction of technology, the transformation of the health, education and social spheres will also improve the quality of life of Hungarian citizens.
