The rest of Putin and Shoigu in the Siberian taiga hit the video: Politics: Russia: Lenta.ru
Vacation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in the taiga caught on video, footage showed on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24”.
Putin and Shoigu visited the Far East in early September. The footage of the politicians’ rest is signed “72 hours in Siberia.” The video shows how they fished on the river, walked in the mountains, and also rafted on a boat.
The Russian leader spent the night in a tent. The Minister of Defense, assessing the tent, remarked: “Solid.” Putin explained the impressive size of his home by saying that “we need to work better,” and then the politicians laughed. Shoigu drew attention to the image of the fireplace on the tent of the head of state. “By the way, it warms up, you shouldn’t laugh. It warms up, look, ”Putin joked. According to Shoigu, “sitting by the fire is well thought out.” “Cozy,” he added. Putin and Shoigu were warming themselves by a simple fire.
The head of state said what impressed him the most during the trip. According to him, these were marals (subspecies of red deer – approx. “Lenta.ru”), which he liked in size and speed. “Huge marals are simple. I haven’t seen such people yet … We were almost shot down. And at such a huge speed, ”he shared his impressions. According to the president, if such fast deer were sent to the Olympic Games, the animals would win the competition, because they have no equal.
During the trip, Vladimir Putin was driving and at the helm. The President wore a hiking suit and a traditional Panama hat for walking in nature. The politicians managed to fish in several places: on a turbulent river and a more full-flowing area. Judging by the footage, the fishing was a success: a pike can be seen in the boat of the head of state.
While walking in the woods, politicians came across an empty bear den. The director of the Sayano-Shushensky nature reserve, Gennady Kiselev, who was accompanying them, showed footage from video traps, where the playing kittens of snow leopards were captured. Hidden cameras also filmed a bear catching a cub of Siberian ibex. Kiselev noted that the number of ibex in the local forests is good. To which Putin asked how many bears live in the forest. “About 600” – he heard in response and came to the conclusion that this is “decent.”
This is not the first time that the head of state has chosen Siberia as a holiday destination. Earlier, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov explained this by the fact that the politician has become attached to this area with all his heart. He notes that Putin is especially fond of the region, but he also happens to be in the Far East, in Sochi and Crimea.
The previous trip of Putin and Shoigu to the taiga took place in March 2021. In addition, the head of state was vacationing in Siberia before his birthday (October 7) in 2019, in March 2017 and August 2018. In 2014, Putin celebrated his birthday in the taiga.
