Moldova has not had real campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle and no real vaccination campaign (Press Review)
Press review – September 26, 2021.
Ziarul de Garda explains in an editorial “Why does the world deny the existence of the disease? Why do you consider vaccines unnecessary or risky? Because the state does not take its own decisions seriously. Some examples. We are in an exceptional situation, but the public transport units are full of people who neglect wearing masks, and there can be no social distance. Another example, almost ridiculous, if it weren’t so perfect. At the entrance to supermarkets, but also to other institutions, you probably noticed an electronic thermometer for testing the body temperature of buyers. If someone did an experiment, they would easily find that these thermometers are fictitious, that they generate false data, which no one needs. The administrations of these institutions have invested money in some absolutely useless devices, just to check the observance of the sanitary norms in the pandemic. How can man create that all these actions, decisions, are taken seriously, when the thermometers show temperatures of 32, 33, 34.5 degrees, and others, in the case of 5-6 buyers, tested consecutively, we find the same temperature? Anyone, even without too much health knowledge, will treat this anti-pandemic decision as a formality. Or, another episode. On September 10, a state of public health emergency was declared on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova, at least until October 30, 2021. At this time, the access of persons over 18 years of age to outdoor events, such as shows, concerts , festivals and inside theaters, cinemas, concert halls, nightclubs and ring halls are allowed only if they present a vaccination certificate or negative results of an unexpired test. Have you ever read any information about how these checks take place or were you somehow asked / checked at the entrance to a nightclub or restaurant? Why would people, especially those who have not gone through the torments of the disease, really believe in the existence of risks and respect restrictions, if state decisions on protecting the health of citizens are not respected? “, Writes Aneta Grosu in Ziarul de Garda.
“The Republic of Moldova did not have real campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle and no real vaccination campaign, writes journalist Irina Papuc on Mediaforum. At the same time, the author finds that in the Republic of Moldova expenditures for the promotion of a healthy lifestyle per capita reached in 2020 7 lei and 41 money! Why do people deny science? Here’s why. What kind of promotion can we do with 7 lei? It is embarrassing, disappointing, a failure for all governors since 1991. Stop making value judgments and ask yourself why people are left in need. Why haven’t the authorities invested in information and risk awareness campaigns? Why does a state lead uneducated people? Why has the system not won the trust of their people? … Before the pandemic, over 200 villages in the Republic of Moldova did not have a family doctor. Not at all. In many other cases a single doctor is responsible for three or five villages. Now imagine what it is like to be deprived of all the privileges of the technological leap and the medical discoveries of the 19th century in a village torn from the world. How can a man from the country first understand and then accept the reasons for the mRNA vaccine, when he can put burdock leaves when he can no longer stand, pick a plantain leaf to put on the open wound, and when Does the child have a fever, is he stuffed with blankets and bathed in vinegar? The man from the country, despite our urban sarcasm, is not stupid. He was left to fend for himself. Governments kept changing, but he was left alone with the leaves of burdock. People will accept the messages from Chisinau and science only when they feel that they care. That they are listened to, not abandoned, all the time, not only in pandemics “, the author writes.
In an article entitled “Parasites”, Gazeta de Chisinau writes about a category of people in Moldovan society who need to live, from one day to the next, on the backs of others. They simply do not want to work and look for different ways to parasitize on someone’s account: ask for social assistance, undeserved allowances, benefit from the help of charities, take advantage of funds some politicians in election campaigns or count on the mercy of ordinary citizens. It is not about people with disabilities, lonely old people, the sick or children from vulnerable families. This category is about men and women in their prime, healthy and fit for work. In fact, there is no locality in the Republic of Moldova that does not have its parasites. They are naughty, insistent and cause a scandal if the town halls refuse to help them. Then I go to the district, and if I don’t find “justice” there either, I get to Chisinau. If they are rejected, they turn to the editorial office. And don’t give up until you reach your goal. It is outrageous when those who start working, but do not want to work, receive help, depriving them of those who need real support “, writes Gazeta de Chisinau.
